Welcome to The Coffee Press Journal’s poetry contest!
We are excited about bringing this new interactive feature back to TheCPJ. We hope you are, too!
During each contest period, a different theme will be posted here on
the Contest Page. You may use that theme or not. Then, submit a poem in any form (including
“freeform”) that is 30 lines or less.
Each poem will be judged on the basis of originality, creativity, artistic
quality, characterization, and the adherence to the theme and line limits.
Our current contest has been extended till April 30, 2008.
Winners will now be announced with the July/August 2008 issue of TheCPJ.
